We want to organise an educational event to train people in the skills needed for sustainability, from gardening to building to permaculture design to open source software.

Here are some ideas about what we need to do a gathering : Ecoskillage Education Experience

It is possible that profits from the event could go towards funding the ecovillage project - to help buy the land. This needs to be discussed and confirmed. Some thoughts about the format and organisation : Ecoskillage projections

It is also probable that the project will be taken forward outside of the decision-making structures of the ecovillage.

We are currently envisioning an event of 200 to 500 people, 2 weeks to 1 month on the land, possibly in Spring 2010. We are looking for sites, co-creators/ organisers/ crew and your input on what you want out of an event like this!
